Where The Wild Things Are is a classic children's book in many respects. The illustrations are timeless and iconic, which is why we're thrilled to be able to work with the art on our Mudpuppy products and bring these characters and colors to life in a new way!
In anticipation to last weeks film adaptation premiere, New York City is a buzz with Wild Things. One exciting exhibit taking place is over at The Morgan Library & Museum. Where the Wild Things Are: Original Drawings by Maurice Sendak runs through November 1st, and if you get a chance, check it out for rare insight into Sendak's creative process. It features original drafts of the story, preliminary sketches, and the process of using tracing paper to transfer original sketches for further development.
Very cool stuff. Not to mention some of our products are in the gift shop!
So release your inner Wild Thing and swing on over to The Morgan Library & Museum!
